PLAYER AGREEMENT
Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Acceptance and service scope
These Terms govern your use of Q-Ball Arcade at playqball.com, including guest play, player accounts, profiles, multiplayer tables, private Friends Lounges, the installable web app, and any wallet feature we expressly make available (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. Wallet features are for adults age 18 or older. Do not use a wallet feature if doing so is unlawful where you live.
3. Guest play, accounts, and player profiles
Guest play does not require an account. Account sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for access to your email account, device, browser session, and any connected wallet. Never share a sign-in code.
Your account profile is private to you and trusted service operations. Your current table name and game state are visible to the other player during multiplayer, so do not use sensitive personal information as a table name. You grant Q-Ball Arcade a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process content you submit only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
4. Private Friends Lounges and communications
Eligible signed-in players may create or join a private Friends Lounge using an invite code. A creator may choose the member limit and whether text chat or voice chat is allowed. Voice defaults off, and each member must tap Join Voice before Q-Ball requests microphone access. Invite codes are access credentials for the lounge; share them only with intended members. Lounge hosts and moderators may mute, remove, block, ban, or report players and content to protect the group and enforce these Terms.
You remain responsible for messages and other content you submit. Do not post sensitive personal information or assume that another member will keep a message confidential. The current Friends Lounge foundation stores text chat only for that exact Lounge while it remains active, and erases those messages when the Lounge closes. It shows approximate Presence using a recent authenticated heartbeat and last-seen timestamp. When voice is available and you expressly join it, live microphone audio is transported through LiveKit to current voice participants. You may mute or leave voice, and Q-Ball disconnects voice when the app goes into the background. Q-Ball does not enable voice recording or egress, but another participant or their device may record locally without Q-Ball’s knowledge; do not say anything you would not want another member to retain.
5. Fair play and prohibited conduct
You may not:
- use bots, scripts, automation, cheats, exploits, or unauthorized clients;
- probe, scrape, overload, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits;
- impersonate others, misuse accounts, or submit deceptive information;
- harass players or submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful content;
- use the Service to wager, settle bets, launder value, or facilitate unlawful activity; or
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
We may restrict or suspend access to protect players, investigate abuse, comply with law, or preserve the Service.
6. Ronin founder test and wallet safety
As of July 31, 2026, Q-Ball Arcade’s Ronin integration is a private founder-only wallet-linking test on the Saigon testnet. It requests a wallet connection and one personal signature solely to verify control of a public address.
Mainnet, transactions, transfers, minting, payments, smart contracts, marketplace features, app tracking, product analytics, and gas sponsorship are not enabled. Q-Ball Arcade does not hold or recover wallets, private keys, seed phrases, or assets. Saigon is a test network: it may reset, fail, or change, and test assets have no promised monetary value. A signature is not a transaction, but you must still read every wallet request before approving it.
7. Virtual items and no financial product
Any current or future points, badges, cosmetic items, inventory entries, test assets, or collectibles may be changed, suspended, or removed as the Service evolves unless separate written terms say otherwise. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and are not an investment, security, bank account, or guaranteed store of value. Q-Ball Arcade provides no financial, investment, tax, or legal advice and currently offers no cash prizes or real-money wagering.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on providers such as Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare Turnstile, LiveKit, Reown/WalletConnect, and Ronin Wallet/Sky Mavis. Their services have separate terms and privacy practices. Q-Ball Arcade does not control a third-party wallet, network, browser, email provider, or service outage.
9. Q-Ball Arcade rights
The Service, game code, artwork, audio, branding, layouts, and other Q-Ball Arcade materials are owned by Q-Ball Arcade or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for lawful, non-commercial play. No other rights are granted.
10. Changes, availability, and termination
Q-Ball Arcade is an evolving service. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features and may correct game states or records affected by bugs, abuse, or security incidents. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or loss-free operation. We do not promise that a multiplayer session, test network, wallet provider, account record, or virtual item will always remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Q-Ball Arcade will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, assets, or access arising from the Service or a third-party service. Q-Ball Arcade’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Q-Ball Arcade for the Service during the twelve months before the claim or US $25. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
14. Contact
Questions and legal notices may be sent to joebedarts@gmail.com with “Q-Ball Arcade” and the request type in the subject. Never send a seed phrase, private key, recovery code, wallet password, or one-time sign-in code.
